UEFA Euro U21 2023: List of all award winners

England beat Spain 1-0 to lift the trophy
The UEFA Euro U21 2023 was the 24th iteration of the annual international youth football competition held by UEFA for the men's under-21 squads across Europe (or the 27th iteration if the Under-23 era is also included).
The final competition featured 16 teams and was open only to athletes who were born on or after January 1, 2000.
Georgia and Romania jointly hosted the sporting event. The final was held in Georgia, while Romania hosted the first game. The 1998 UEFA European Under-21 Championship was held in Romania.
This Under-21 Championship, conducted a year before the Olympics, functioned as the European qualification event for the Summer Olympics of 2024.
In addition to France, which was automatically selected as the Olympic organiser, other eligible sides fought for three qualifying spots to participate in the men's football competition of the 2024 Summer Olympics, where they will be represented by their respective under-23 squads with an aggregate of three excess players allowed.
Despite dropping out in the group stage, Germany, the reigning champion, was unable to retain their crown. England defeated Spain 1-0 to win their third championship. They made history by becoming the first side to win the UEFA European Under-21 Championship without giving up a goal throughout the competition.
The English youngsters won the tournament for just the third time. James Trafford was the nation's hero as he saved a late penalty and didn't concede a goal in the entire tournament. This is the first time that a team has won the tournament without conceding a goal.
