The English midfielder has joined Arsenal for a hefty fee

Multiple sources in Germany claim West Ham United wants to finalise audacious agreements for Chelsea's Conor Gallagher and Bayern Munich's Leon Goretzka.

After selling top defensive midfielder Declan Rice to the Gunners for £105 million, the Premier League team is rich with cash.

In order to supplant England lynchpin Rice, coach David Moyes is eager to reinforce his midfield by adding two central midfielders.

Bayern set Leon Goretzka's asking price at £43m

Additionally, as reported by Sky Sports Germany, the Hammers are negotiating a deal for Gallagher and want Goretzka, who is valued at £43 million.

They add that the 28-year-old international from Germany had been identified as Rice's "top replacement," but they further note that Goretzka has so far turned down every offer since he is reluctant to leave.

German powerhouse Bayern intends to seek between £34m and £43m for Goretzka, who is still allegedly on the market for a "No 6" midfielder.

According to Sky, Gallagher, 23, is considered to be a less expensive choice; his maximum fee is estimated to be in the range of £30 million.

While on loan at Crystal Palace in 2021–2022, the Chelsea midfielder struck twice against West Ham at the London Arena.

Gallagher earned 45 outings in all competitions this past season after successfully completing his loan in south London and securing a berth in the Blues' first-team lineup.

Joao Palhinha, an attacking threat for Fulham, is another player that West Ham wants, but they must pony up a lot of money to obtain him. David Moyes, the manager of the Hammers, is a known follower of the Portuguese.

West Ham are keen to provide their supporters with a weekly glimpse of Palhinha's potential but have learned that Fulham would demand somewhere around £60 million.

That is a significant charge for a 28-year-old player who cost them £20 million, but Fulham is aware that they are home to a major talent.

As a result, West Ham is looking through the many names on its long list as they prepare to lose head of recruiting analysis Jordan Miles to Aberdeen.
