The Red Devils gear up for pre-season tour

A number of matches across the nation will be played during Manchester United's first trip to the US since 2018 in order to help Erik ten Hag's team get ready for the 2023–24 season.

A match against Arsenal will be one of the games on July 22 at MetLife Stadium in New York, capping off a three-day visit to the city.

On Tuesday, 25 July, Wrexham AFC will be among the visitors when the Reds play a youth-focused side at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego during the course of a week-long training session in the Californian region.

At NRG Field in Houston, Texas, on the following day, Wednesday, July 26, Ten Hag's team will take on Real Madrid.

The game is going to be an element of the Soccer Champions Tour showcase series, which will feature nine matches around the United States against six of the most recognisable football clubs in the world.

In 2014, they played Real in front of 109,318 spectators at The Big House in Michigan, which is still the greatest crowd for a football game played on US soil.

Finally, on Sunday, July 30, we'll play Borussia Dortmund at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This will be our first meeting with the Bundesliga team since a game in China during our 2016 trip.

However, they won't have finished their preseason workouts yet. The team will play Raphael Varane's former club Lens at Old Trafford on August 5 before travelling to Dublin on August 6 for a final friendly match against Athletic Bilbao of La Liga.

Where to watch and stream Manchester United's 2023-24 pre-season tour?

All games will be streamed live on MUTV via either the club's official app or website.
