PSG are not willing to sell Marco Verratti

After getting Neymar, Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal hopes to finalise the acquisition of Marco Verratti this weekend as they press to sign the PSG midfielder.

Verratti, who particularly requested to play in the closing minutes of Saturday night's 1-1 draw with Toulouse at the Parc des Princes but was denied by the club, now appears certain to finalise a transfer to Al-Hilal in the days to come.

Rafaela Pimenta, the kid's agent, has been vehemently advocating for the transfer, and the youngster has had a preliminary contract agreement set up for his transfer to the Saudi club since a few months ago.

According to TF1, Sports Zone, and sources told, Al-Hilal are anticipated to make a third formal offer to PSG for the player soon.

Les Parisiens, who have consistently claimed that Verratti's value on the market is situated at €80m, immediately rejected their first two proposals, which were placed at roughly €30m and then a little under €40m.

Al-Hilal believes that a proposal of €50 million plus a few incentives will be sufficient to convince PSG to accept it. If Verratti and/or his family don't change their minds at the last minute, the sale should close soon.

The Saudi team seems to have fallen short in its efforts to get Kylian Mbappe from PSG, who is unwilling to join another team and is widely believed to have already committed to playing for Real Madrid on a free transfer the following summer.

The two parties are still deciding on a transfer fee for Verratti, who is under contract with his present squad until 2026. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French champions are seeking roughly €30 million for the midfielder.

PSG have had a successful transfer window with the additions of Cher Ndour, Marco Asensio, and Milan Skriniar on free transfers, as well as the acquisitions of Manuel Ugarte from Sporting, Lucas Hernandez from Bayern, Kang-in Lee from Mallorca, and Xavi Simons returning from PSV.
