Al-Ittihad are ready to make Salah highest paid player in Saudi league

Al-Ittihad are doing everything to land the Liverpool renowned forward Mohamed Salah and now have included mouthwatering proposals to lure the former AS Roma player to the Saudi league.

Al-Ittihad are now prepared to offer €500-€600 million salary which will run till 2027 and even the role of Saudi Arabian ambassador.

Salah is open to joining the Saudi club but will remain at Liverpool if the Reds are reticent to sell him given as per the report Al-Ittihad have offered €100m bid for the Egyptian forward.

For a player who has only two years left on his Liverpool contract €100m seems sensible to part ways with the forward who has been fundamental in Liverpool's run to trophies.

However, it is their decision to make a verdict on his future but Salah is certainly willing to relocate to the Saudi league as per the speculations.

Mohamed Salah for Liverpool

In 221 games over the past six seasons at Anfield, the 31-year-old has 138 goals and has three times taken home the Premier League Golden Boot.

The team in Jeddah led by Nuno Espirito Santo, which is now victorious in the Saudi Pro League, is the one most keen on signing Salah away from Liverpool this summer.

He is likely to eclipse Cristiano Ronaldo, the leading man of Al Nassr, as the most lucrative player in the Saudi Pro League should the transfer go through.

Salah's pay would be even more extravagant given that the former Manchester United player makes £173 million annually in Saudi Arabia.

Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, two important players for Liverpool, have departed for Saudi Arabia. But given his significance to the team, Salah's exit would be the most devastating of the three.

However, Salah already appears to have rejected a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, which may provide Liverpool with some consolation.
