Eintracht Frankfurt demand €100M for the French striker

Eintracht Frankfurt have rejected Paris Saint-Germain's €65 million opening bid for Randal Kolo Muani, saying they want €100 million for the youngster.

They regard the French national at €100 million, and according to the German news source Bild, they won't agree to a lower price when PSG comes calling.

When numerous clubs were vying for his signing earlier this summer, Randal Kolo Muani had previously stated that he wanted to stay at Deutsche Bank Park.

However, Les Parisiens are said to have persuaded the 24-year-old to go back to his native country, a move that will definitely earn him a substantial salary hike.

The Ligue 1 champions have reached a personal understanding with the player, but they have not yet made an official offer to Frankfurt.

Kolo Muani secured an agreement for five years when he joined Die Adler from Nantes on a free transfer last summer, so there is no pressure to let him go.

The initial contract for the France international has a four-year term remaining, giving Frankfurt the advantage in talks about an early exit.

The Germans believe Kolo Muani could soon be on their radar after witnessing PSG make roughly €95 million from the sale of Neymar.

However, before approving Kolo Muani's leaving, they offered to make their French rivals pay the money from the transfer of Neymar and further.

Randal Kolo Muani adapted quickly to the German top division last season, scoring 23 goals and dishing out 17 assists in 46 games in all competitions. The Frenchman launched the new season off to a strong start by opening the scoring in Frankfurt's DFB Pokal victory over Lok Leipzig by a score of 7-0.

His goal-scoring prowess has made it impossible for PSG to overlook him, and there are rumours in France that they are getting ready to make Frankfurt a test offer for €70 million.

If they want to wrangle their forward out of Frankfurt after just 12 months, it appears they will need to modify their impending offer.
