Joao Felix may move to Saudi Arabia if Barcelona move doesn't materialize

The 23-year-old does not want to stay at Atletico Madrid anymore.
It is being reported that Joao Felix has no intentions of staying with Atletico Madrid for the coming season as he made his intentions to play for Barcelona public a while back. While talking to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, he revealed that a move to the Camp Nou and playing for the Blaugranas would be like a dream come true for the Portuguese international.
It was briefly reported that the Catalan side might even be interested in the forward. However, Barcelona’s financial situation has played a major role in them avoiding to show any public interest in the striker. However, a loan move to Barcelona with a buy in option at the end of the season is something which could be accepted by both the sides as it may fit everyone’s situation. However, formal discussions about the topic are yet to take place.
However, Joao Felix has revealed that if his move to Barcelona doesn’t go through, he would move to the Saudi Pro League. Certain Saudi clubs have showed interest in him in the past. Al-Hilal offered Atletico a loan move till the end of the year. However, the LaLiga side have iterated that they want to offload him permanently.
It is being reported that the striker is in no mood to represent Atletico Madrid going forward and that we have seen the last of him in the red and whites. He has reportedly put his house in Madrid up for rent, further indicating his desperation to leave the club.
Even if he moves to Barcelona before the transfer window closes on Friday, a permanent move is almost impossible given Barcelona’s financial condition. So even if he moves to the Camp Nou, it will be on a loan agreement.
