The French striker is set to remain at PSG this summer

Bild claims that Real Madrid are planning a bid for Kylian Mbappe that will be submitted at the very last minute of the transfer season. The Spanish team is attempting to tempt PSG with a bid of over €120 million.

Despite making a name for himself at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Kylian Mbappe is now in a precarious situation with the organisation.

The 24-year-old made it known earlier this summer that he would not be renewing his deal with the team when it expires next summer. Before leaving as a free agent the next year, Mbappe wants to play one more season for Les Parisiens. Real Madrid are said to be his intended destination.

The Frenchman's choice, nevertheless, appeared to enrage the PSG management. Since that time, he has been cut from the first squad and spent time with the team's "undesirables," which has prevented him from joining the team on their pre-season tour of Japan.

Mbappe is additionally on the auction floors for transfer, as PSG are frantically trying to avoid losing out on a hefty transfer fee.

The legendary athlete is reportedly solely interested in playing for Real Madrid, according to numerous sources. Although all parties are happy for the transfer to happen next summer, anything could happen at any time.

However, it is rumoured that the Frenchman is being courted by a number of other top teams. Liverpool is apparently attempting to sign him on loan, and Chelsea are supposedly putting up a player-plus-cash deal. However, given Mbappe's desire to join the Spanish powerhouses, Madrid continues to be the most likely prospect to secure his contract.

It's becoming rather late for PSG to try to get a high price for Mbappe. To get the forward out the door this summer and prevent the possibility of his departing for free the next year, they might be compelled to accept a lower offer.

Any offers will likely fall short of PSG's estimated value and undoubtedly fall short of Al-Hilal's jaw-dropping offer of €300 million (£259 million or $332 million).
