Daniel Chima Chukwu joins Jamshedpur FC training

Daniel Chima Chukwu wasn't available for the first month of pre-season.

Daniel Chima Chukwu has returned to the Jamshedpur FC setup and will be available for selection as the club gets closer to the start of the new Indian Super League (ISL) season.

The Nigerian was unavailable for the first month or so of training but has now joined his teammates in preparing for the new campaign and looked sharp in his first session since a return.

The striker is a welcome addition to the Jamshedpur FC squad and was one of the shining lights of the last couple of seasons, scoring goals and being an overall threat in attack for the Men of Steel.

Chima is the club’s all-time highest goal scorer, overtaking Greg Stewart last season and is expected to play a crucial role up front once again as he links up with a new strike partner in Croatian forward Petar Sliskovic.

Chima will also be one of the major attractions for local crowds in Jamshedpur, who can book their tickets online for the upcoming season by heading to the "ticket genie" website, with the tickets set to go live tomorrow at 5 PM. Tickets will be available at a starting price of just Rs.50. Offline tickets will be available at JRD Tata Sports Complex Box Offices from September 26.
