The Subroto Cup rewards the winners handsomely for their efforts.

The 2023 Subroto Cup is at hand and the excitement for the tournament is through the roof. It is one of the most prestigious football tournaments in India, conducted by the Indian Air Force with the help of the AIFF, that sees school football teams of different age-restricted categories compete for the top honour.

Subroto Cup’s legacy is immense as it has helped legendary players like Bhaichung Bhutia, Shyam Thapa and more to find recognition and a platform to chart their careers in football. These individuals went on to inspire thousands of budding footballers who began to see the Subroto Cup as a pathway to become professionals and make their mark on the national stage.

The winners of the 2023 Subroto Cup and the other top-ranked teams at the end of the tournament will also receive a handsome amount of prize money. It is heartening to see that the winners of the coveted trophy will get a decent cash prize and recognition at the same time as these motivations serve to promote the game and make young players push themselves even harder.
