Carlo Ancelotti: Arda Guler needs a little physical condition & getting used to the team's game

Arda Guler is yet to make his Madrid debut this season
Arda Guler has not yet played for Real Madrid, who decided to shell out more than the Fenerbahce release price in order to transfer the young Turkish player to Spain.
Following a few days of acquisition, he travelled to the United States to join the team for preseason, but he didn't play in the matches against AC Milan and Manchester United. The 18-year-old was transported back to Spain to receive medical care after suffering a knee injury.
Arda Guler was scheduled to make what would be his Madrid bow in this week's La Liga match against Las Palmas, despite a lengthy recuperation process. Along with the resuming Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal, Carlo Ancelotti even pronounced him fit and available.
"He needs minutes, a little physical condition, getting used to the team's game, but he is fine. In this time he has shown that he has extraordinary talent and that is genetics," Ancelotti said of Guler when he spoke to the media in the capital on Tuesday lunchtime.
But immediately as the coach was done, Real Madrid released a medical declaration stating that Guler had sustained a new injury and would be unable to play in the match. Instead of the internal meniscus condition that has kept him from playing until now, it's a thigh muscle issue.
When Turkey defeated Wales 2-0 in a Euro 2024 qualifying match on June 19, Guler last participated, contributing one of the goals. His latest club game was Fenerbahce's victory over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Cup final, which occurred a little under a week ago.
Güler had recently completely recovered from the meniscus injury that prevented him from participating in the squad's preseason. Although it's a muscle injury that shouldn't be considered severe and is completely unrelated to that one, it's yet another painful setback for Güler, who was expected to eventually mark his Real Madrid debut.
