Glazers are going to remain Manchester United owners until 2025

According to a report from a source with enduring intimate relations to the American family, the Glazers will remove Manchester United away the auction block after failing to receive offers that came close to their original asking price.

The decision is guaranteed to incite rage among United supporters, who have never had a good relationship with the club's owners and hold them responsible for the team's lack of recent accomplishments and expenditure on infrastructure.

The source claimed, "The Glazers are corpulent and won't be affected by any adverse fan reactions," adding that the family's initial strategy was to draw numerous serious bidders, but that didn't work out.

The family stated in November of last year that they remained open to proposals for either a full sale of the club or an interim sale in which they would retain a sizable portion.

There were only two genuine bidders: Sir Jim Ratcliffe, whose offer would give the Glazers a minority stake, and Sheikh Jassim of Qatar, who desires the entire club.

A number of rounds of bids were made, but no confirmation of the Glazers' position was provided, leaving insiders close to both parties frustrated.

The Glazers anticipate a higher price because of an increase in TV rights profits, the upcoming 2026 World Cup, and the expansion of FIFA's Club World Cup to 32 clubs starting in 2025.

The fact that it will take place in the United States will increase American millionaires' interest in investing in the sport of football. The Glazers believe that doing so may enable them to sell United for around £7 billion and $10 billion.

Last week, United backers staged a sit-in rally at Old Trafford to call on the family to sell out once more, but the Glazers have always disregarded pressure from fans.

Erik ten Hag, the club's manager, has the support of the owners, who are hopeful that he can lead the team to significant success over the following two seasons.
