Joao Palhinha informs Fulham about January exit

Palhinha's move to Bayern Munich hit a roadblock on deadline day
Joao Palhinha is focused on moving to Bayern Munich in January, claims Christian Falk. The midfielder is opposed to considering proposals from other teams because the Bavarians also plan to make a new offer in the following transfer window.
The Joao Palhinha case will be discussed throughout the coming weeks until it comes back around the beginning of January.
The Portuguese midfielder came close to joining the Bundesliga winners, but Fulham blocked the deal at the very last minute.
The midfielder's transfer had been approved by the Cottagers, who had agreed to sell him to Bayern for a rumoured €65 million sum.
Palhinha underwent his medical examinations and even performed media obligations while in Germany, but because Fulham's required approvals were never received, the Portuguese player was forced to return to England.
Joao Palhinha was one of Bayern's disappointments because, in addition to the star from Fulham, they missed adding a minimum of two other players by the end of the day. Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea and Armel Bella-Kotchap of Southampton were both among them.
Fulham refused because they couldn't find an adequate alternative for Palhinha. There were a few links to famous people, but the window had almost no time left.
Joao Palhinha allegedly wants to transfer to Bayern in January and won't talk to other clubs, as reported by journalist Christian Falk.
Palhinha will put leaving Fulham at the top of his list of priorities after the deadline day disaster. The Bundesliga team is also considering another strategy in January after coming so close to signing with Bayern. They would like an analogous arrangement but might have to make a fresh proposal.
Recent media rumours that Manchester United also had interest may have contributed to Palhinha's determination that join Bayern.
