Juventus could terminate Paul Pogba's contract following doping allegations

Paul Pogba tested positive for doping
Juventus are in a strong position to terminate Paul Pogba's contract after the Frenchman tested positive for doping.
The midfielder's suspension comes as yet another setback for a man who has been through a string of tragedies since coming to Turin.
The nutritional supplement Paul Pogba purchased in the USA is thought to be the cause of his positive testosterone test!
The Frenchman reportedly received advice from a doctor buddy who works in the United States. Pogba used the supplement, but neither Juventus nor the Turin medical team were informed about it.
Since joining Juventus once again in the summer of 2022, Paul Pogba has only started one game. A very real possibility exists that he won't ever participate for the team again after excessive testosterone levels were discovered in an unscheduled drug test conducted following the Bianconeri's Serie A match against Udinese on August 20.
"Paul is back in Turin. He left as a boy and returns as a man and a champion, but there is one thing that has not changed – the desire to write unforgettable pages of club history together once more. Pogba is back and we couldn’t be happier."
The Frenchman's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, reports that they are currently awaiting the "counter-analysis" to determine if the B sample confirms the existence of the prohibited substance in the Frenchman's system. Pogba has been temporarily banned by the Italian Prohibition of doping tribunal (NADO Italia). We are unable to comment till that time, Pimenta said. The fact that Paul never intended to break the law is certain.
Pogba's top-flight career is currently very much in doubt since he faces a two- to four-year suspension from the sport if proven guilty of doping. The fact that this failed doping test is yet another heartbreaking blow for a footballer who has gone through a string of tragedies since coming to Turin the year before is already without question.
The euphoria surrounding Pogba's free move was aptly captured in that official press release last summer announcing his return to Juventus.
And to some extent, it made sense. In 2016, Juventus sold a player to Manchester United for an at-the-time record £89 million ($100 million).
He was only 29 at the time. Pogba had the greatest club football of his playing life throughout his first stay in Turin, so it was hoped that the Bianconeri would be able to get a few more fantastic seasons from him.
