The French star was promised €100m as bonus if he extend his contract back in 2022

For the opportunity to rejoin the PSG first team this season, Kylian Mbappe would forfeit revenues in excess of €100 million.

As reported by L'Equipe, Kylian Mbappe and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi agreed to forego more than €100 million in royalty payments. Mbappe decided to rejoin the team as a condition for PSG agreeing to that.

Kylian Mbappe won't be signing a new deal with PSG, it is also stated.

This indicates that he will still be able to leave PSG after the 2023–24 campaign on a free transfer. It has been speculated that he will make a Bosman Transfer to Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe informed PSG in June that he had no plans to exercise the option to prolong his current deal by another year, which runs out in 2024.

Mbappe informed PSG in writing that he will stay with PSG through the remainder of his contract year and not depart in 2023.

This upset PSG and Mbappe was forced to train with players who were on the player transfer list throughout the summer and the beginning of the current season.

He would remain off the roster, according to PSG, unless he left for a significant number of money before the conclusion of the summer transfer window or signed a new contract.

The decision to reinstate the attacker back to the team was ultimately made.

So that PSG might get a transfer fee in the summer of 2019, it had been anticipated that Mbappe would agree to an extension, albeit a brief one.

L'Equipe claims that won't be the case any more. Mbappe isn't going to sign another deal, saving PSG the greater than €100 million in loyalty payments they would have had to provide the striker this season.
