Manchester United target Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry
Serge Gnabry started his professional career at Arsenal
According to sources, Serge Gnabry, a winger for Bayern Munich, is being closely watched by Manchester United.
The attacker, who hasn't scored in four games this season, will take on United on Wednesday in the opening match of the Champions League group stage. The 28-year-old only last year signed a new contract that keeps him in Bavaria through 2026.
To reinforce their right-wing, Fichajes claims Manchester United might put together a £52 million offer for Gnabry. Due to his dispute with Erik ten Hag, Jadon Sancho's future is uncertain, and Antony has not lived up to his £85 million price tag since joining the team.
Serge Gnabry, who scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 47 games this past season, is reportedly a favourite of Ten Hag, and the United leadership shares the coach's passion for the forward.
The Reds might try to take advantage of the fact that Serge Gnabry's contract will expire with just two years remaining next summer in the hopes Bayern will attempt to sell their player.
Additionally, Antony took a "period of absence" from United last week to respond to claims that he had abused three different women, all of which he adamantly rejects.
Without a later date, the Brazilian will not participate in sports or train. The duration of both players' absence from first-team activities is unknown.
In 47 games during the previous campaign, the 28-year-old scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists.
Fichajes also asserts that Manchester United are interested in defender Jose Maria Gimenez of Atletico Madrid.
Because of a knee injury, the 28-year-old, who is in the last two seasons of his deal with Atletico, has only participated in 30 minutes of football this year.
Gimenez is supposedly open to the thought of leaving, and so is his club, given the chance the Uruguayan international can fall out of favour this season.
