Manchester United submit squad list for Champions League 2023-24 Group stage

New signings will look to make their debut for the club at the biggest stage

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has submitted the list of 25 players who will represent the club in the biggest competition of the continent.

New signings like Sofyan Amrabat, Altay Bayindir, Rasmus Hojlund, Sergio Reguilon and Mason Mount are included in this list and will make their European debut for the club in the Champions League 2023-24 campaign.

The 'B List', due to be submitted ahead of the first game against Bayern, will definitely include Argentina international Alejandro Garnacho, among other players who have come through the Academy.

Manchester United are in Group A along with German giants Bayern Munich, Turkish giants Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen of Denmark. The Red Devils start their campaign away at Munich.

Erik the Hag's men are the second favourites to advance from the group stage to the knockouts. They kick-start their campaign after the September international break.

Manchester United have made a disappointing start to their Premier League 2023-24 campaign. Two defeats in North London have already widened the gap to six points from leaders Manchester City.

Injuries to some key players at the start of the season have also been a concern for the Dutch manager. He was without a natural left-back until Reguilon was signed on a loan deal.

Mason Mount is out with an injury and is expected to return after the international break. Another new signing Rasmus Hojlund struggled with a back injury at the start but finally made his debut against Arsenal.

Donny Van de Beek has not made it to the list and is likely to leave the club in the coming days.
