Top six Premier League teams to win opening six games of season

Manchester City have a perfect record so far in the Premier League this season
The 6th week of fixtures for the Premier League 2023-24 season has concluded. There is something about this season that was missing in the last one; it exudes a fresh, lively atmosphere. However, the defending champions, Manchester City, appear to be on track to win their 4th title. With six wins out of six games so far, the Cityzens remain undefeated.
Meanwhile, let's take a look at the previous six occasions when a Premier League club managed to win the first six games of the season.
6 - Newcastle United (1994-95)
Once upon a time, the Magpies were a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. Although with the Saudi investments, they are building a strong team now, it will be challenging to replicate their form from the olden days. In the 1994-95 Premier League season, Newcastle United went on a streak of six consecutive matches without conceding a defeat or a draw. However, the joy was short-lived, as Kevin Keegan's side finished in a mediocre sixth place in the final standings.
6 - Chelsea (2009-10)
Chelsea went on a slaloming run in the early days of the 2009-10 season. The Carlo Ancelotti-led side saw a triumphant campaign that season. The Blues finished top of the PL table, with 86 points. This was Chelsea's third title in the Premier League as well, having one twice prior to this under Jose Mourinho.
6 - Manchester City (2016-17)
Manchester City have been building its own history since the acquisition by Etihad. From being a Championship side to becoming 'used-to' champions, they are on their 'Road to Glory.' However, in Pep Guardiola's first season in charge (the 2016-17 season), Manchester City were unable to clinch the title. Nevertheless, they demonstrated glimpses of what was to come under the Spaniard at the start of that season when they won their first six games in a row.
6 - Manchester City (2023-24)

Now, this season, with six game weeks done and dusted, Manchester City have once again come out with a perfect record. They sit atop the table with 18 points from the available 18 and look in a commanding position to bring home their fourth Premier League title in a row. But, with the other big sides- like, Liverpool- looking strong the Sky Blues could be in for a challenging campaign ahead.
8 - Liverpool (2019-20)
In the 2019-20 season, Liverpool lifted their first title in over three decades, ending a long wait for their fans. Under Jurgen Klopp's leadership, the Reds experienced sheer joy. Even before clinching the title, Liverpool went on an impressive run of eight matches without a draw or a defeat.
9 - Chelsea (2005-06)
Jose Mourinho's Chelsea were a completely different side. At the time, the Portuguese manager took charge of the Blues and challenged the already established giants, Wenger's Arsenal and SAF's Manchester United. During the 2005-06 season, Chelsea won their first nine games in a row before eventually clinching the title.
