PSG team, on and off the pitch, has never been so united: Nasser Al-Khelaifi

Kylian Mbappe has scored five goals for PSG this season

The chief executive of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Nasser Al-Khelaifi, indirectly mocked Neymar and Lionel Messi while praising Kylian Mbappe, the team's current star. He asserted that the team's members are closer than ever and that the emphasis is now more on producing exquisite football than on getting results.

In recent remarks about his time in Paris, Neymar said that both he and Lionel Messi endured "hell" at the club. They were happy to quit the club once he joined Al Hilal and the Argentine transferred to Inter Miami, he continued.

Al-Khelaifi declared in an interview with Record that the PSG players this season were more unified than ever before but refrained from responding directly to Neymar's remarks. He stated:

"Kylian Mbappé is an incredible player and a fantastic person. And the Paris Saint-Germain team, on and off the pitch, has never been so united, which I think was possible to see last weekend, during the game against Lyon. "

"This year, in the new Paris Saint-Germain cycle, we are focusing less on results and more on performance and our style of play. If we do that, the results will appear accordingly. We have a fantastic coach and sporting director and I'm very happy with the spirit found at PSG."

In addition, Lionel Messi said that he did not want to join Paris Saint-Germain but had to decide quickly due to the way his time at Barcelona closed.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, had warned Kylian Mbappe a while back that he would not authorise the striker to line up for the team unless he signed a new contract.

But now that circumstances have changed, the Frenchman is restored to the club's starting lineup.
