Real Betis & Valencia show interest in signing David de Gea on free transfer

The Spanish goalkeeper is without a club so far after parting with Manchester United
Due to reports that David de Gea is wanted by two major Spanish teams, his comeback to football may be imminent.
Upon being released by Manchester United in June, the former Spain international has been unemployed and working out individually.
Although there were still rumours about him playing in the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer, the move back to LaLiga would allow him to stay in the top tier of football.
The 32-year-old's childhood team Atletico Madrid was his last stop in Spain until he signed for Old Trafford for £18.9 million in 2011.
Now, two teams seeking to play for Atleti in the Champions League in 2019 may bring him back, according to reports on fichajes.net that Real Betis and Valencia are both interested in signing the free agent.
Both teams saw the chance to upgrade their goalkeeping ranks by bringing in a goalie with such extensive experience for no cost.
With Rui Silva hurt and 40-year-old Claudio Bravo only getting back from a break, Betis are in a precarious situation, so De Gea might prove to be much more dependable.
Valencia, however, could use some high-profile challenge for the services of talented Georgian custodian Giorgi Mamardashvili.
The source asserts that Betis' need and Valencia's economic circumstances make a move to Sevilla's club appear more likely, and it also states that De Gea has rejected "several teams" in preference of returning home, which may be imminent at this point.
While Pellegrini's team has had a difficult schedule thus far, they have picked up seven points from their opening five games, with their two defeats occurring against Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.
