Saudi club makes €40 million offer to Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski

The striker's Barcelona contract runs till 2026
Towards the closing day of the trade market, FC Barcelona remains active in the window, and in addition to Ansu and Lenglet's known exits and Abde and Eric Garca's potential departures, a fresh name has come to light. A Saudi Arabian team has made a signing offer to the Blaugrana for Robert Lewandowski.
The proposal, which is estimated to be worth €40 million, was made on the penultimate day of the Spanish football market with the exception of Saudi Arabia, which is still accepting offers until September 20, according to Diario Sport.
As a result, the player's leave operation may be completed up until the Saudi market's closure, but Barça would be unable to replace him because registrations in Spain expire this Friday, September 1, at midnight.
Ansu Fati is set to make his move for Brighton official, Dembélé recently joined with PSG, and Abde is still on the way out route; all of these forwards have recently left Barça.
The team could be stuck with Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Ferran Torres while awaiting Joao Félix and Vitor Roque in the off-season market if the Polish player were to go along with them.
The Catalan club has turned down the bid, and the forward has no intention of leaving.
Robert Lewandowski, 35, was bought from Bayern Munich this past summer for €45 million. In the initial three LaLiga games of the current campaign, he produced one goal. In the regular-season portion of last year, he netted 23 goals in 34 games, giving him 33 goals overall in 46 games across all competitions.
Robert Lewandowski appears to want to play for Barcelona in Europe, though. He is Xavi Hernandez's top center-forward choice and is still going strong.
The Catalan giants, yet, have begun making plans for the years to come but the exit of the former Bayern hitman won't have any influence on the club as they managed to sign top target Vitor Roque.
