The Best FIFA Coach Awards 2023: All nominees

Lionel Scaloni is the reigning champion of Best FIFA manager
The men's and women's football managers who are thought to have fared the best during the preceding 12 months are each year granted the Best FIFA Football Coach honour in association football.
Productivity and overall team conduct on and off the pitch are the deciding criteria for managers of the year.
Members from the media, coaches, and captains of the national teams cast the votes. The announcement that the whole public would be able to vote came in October 2016.[1] 25% of the total vote is allocated to each group.
Following his leadership of Manchester City to a triple last season, Guardiola is expected to be the early favourite to win the accolade for the initial time in the span of his tenure. The Citizens won the UEFA Champions League in June after defeating Inzaghi's Inter in the championship game.
While placing third in Serie A, I Nerazzurri additionally took the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italia. After 33 years, Spalletti's Napoli took first place and captured the league championship. They were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals and failed to win another prize throughout the season.
Celtic claimed the Scottish League Cup, Scottish Cup, and Premiership under Postecoglou, who left Celtic to take over Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. Having helped Barcelona win the La Liga trophy the previous season, Xavi is also seen as a deserving contender for the crown.
They also won the Supercopa de Espana, but for the second consecutive year, they were disqualified from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. The public can cast their votes on the FIFA website.
