As we look back at the club's history, we put together an all-time eleven, comprising the most influential players who left a lasting impact on the club and its fans.
Goalkeeper: Amrinder Singh
Amrinder Singh is undoubtedly one of the club's legends, having made 82 appearances and keeping over 25 clean sheets for Mumbai City FC. He holds the record for the second most appearances and has been a consistent performer for the team, being a pillar of strength in both challenging and joyous times. Although in 2021, he signed a five-year contract with Mohun Bagan Super Giants, his contributions to Mumbai City FC will be etched in the club's history forever.
Right Back: Rahul Bheke
Rahul Bheke, a versatile defender, joined Mumbai City FC in 2021 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Bheke showcased his defensive prowess and even etched his name in history as the first Indian goal-scorer in the AFC Champions League. Bheke has been an invaluable asset to the team's backline.
Center Back: Mourtada Fall
Mourtada Fall joined Mumbai City FC in 2020 and made a significant impact on the team's defense. Scoring an impressive 17 goals, he became the highest-scoring defender in the history of the Indian Super League. His 301 clearances and 80 interceptions demonstrate his defensive abilities. After three seasons with Mumbai, Fall secured a move to Odisha FC, leaving behind a legacy as a formidable center-back.
Center Back: Mehtab Singh
Mehtab Singh joined Mumbai City FC in 2020 and quickly established himself as a core part of the team's defense. Singh showcased his defensive prowess and earned a contract extension until 2026. His presence in the backline provides stability and confidence to the entire team.
Left Back: Subhasish Bose
Subhasish Bose joined Mumbai City FC in 2018 and left an indelible mark during his tenure. Making 34 appearances, he displayed excellent defensive skills with 46 interceptions and 232 clearances. After the 2020 season, Bose secured a move to Mohun Bagan Super Giants, where he continued to excel.
Defensive Midfielder: Rowllin Borges
Rowllin Borges joined Mumbai City FC in the 2019 season and quickly became a key figure in the midfield. With 55 appearances, 4 goals, and 21 chances created, Borges provided stability and creativity to the team's play. His 70 interceptions and 133 clearances demonstrate his defensive capabilities. Recently, he was loaned to FC Goa for the latest season, but his contributions to Mumbai City FC remain cherished.
Defensive Midfielder: Ahmed Jahouh
Ahmed Jahouh joined Mumbai City FC in 2020 and immediately became a vital presence in midfield. Left Wing: Bipin Singh
Bipin Singh, who joined Mumbai City FC in 2018, is a name synonymous with goals and success. With a record 113 appearances, 22 goals, he became the club's all-time leading goal-scorer and most capped player. Additionally, he contributed with 14 assists and created 86 chances for the team. His contract extension until 2025 underlines his importance to the squad.
Right Wing: Lallianzuala Chhangte
Lallianzuala Chhangte joined Mumbai City FC on loan in the 2021-22 season and was later signed on a permanent deal. In 54 appearances, he showcased his attacking flair with 19 goals. Chhangte's remarkable achievements include winning the AIFF Men's Player of the Year award in 2022-23, ISL Hero of the League in 2022-23, and FPAI Indian Player of the Year in 2023. His contract extension until 2025 reflects the club's faith in his abilities.
Center Forward: Greg Stewart
Greg Stewart, a versatile striker, joined Mumbai City FC in 2022 and quickly made his presence felt. In 37 appearances, he scored 15 goals and provided 16 assists while creating 60 chances for the team. Center Forward: Jorge Pereyra Díaz
