Ratings: Amrinder, Krishna guide Odisha FC to hard-fought Bengaluru FC triumph

In an absolute thriller of the Indian Super League (ISL), Odisha FC are up in the points table to the sixth position with a 3-2 win against Bengaluru FC at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
The goal scoring ceremony in the match started with a goal by Sunil Chhetri in the 8th minute of play. Then Ryan Williams took the lead of his side to two goals in the 18th minute. After Odisha FC somewhat improved their game and scored their first goal of the match in the 23rd minute of play. Puitea scored the first goal for the home team. And before the half time whistle, Isak Vanlalruatfela scored the equalizer for the Juggernauts in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Bengaluru FC had an early setback as Roshan Singh was shown a red car and they were reduced to 10-man side. This raised the chances for Odisha FC and they took advantage of it at the 60th minute of play when Ranawade scored the third third goal for his side which resulted as the decider of the match.

Amrinder Singh - 7.5
Although Bengaluru FC scored two goals at the beginning of the play, Amarinder had an improved performance in the game as compared to his last match against Kerala Blasters.
Carlos Delgado - 6.5
Like every Odisha FC’s defender today, Delgado also looked out of control in the first few minutes of play. But improved his game and provided better control over the defense line after 25 minutes of play.
Narender Gehlot - 6.5
Narender also had a much improved game today as compared to his last match. Looked lost at times in the first half but defended well in the second.
Jerry Lalrinzuala - 7
Jerry and Delgado had a good partnership in today’s match till the later was substituted. Lost controlled quite a few times in the first half but looked strong in the second half.
Amey Ranawade - 7.5
Ranawade scored the third goal for Odisha FC. Scored it from a difficult angle, from right to the centre of the goal.
Ahmed Jahouh - 7
Jahouh provided some interesting crosses in the second half of the game when Bengaluru were reduced to 10-man side.
Cy Goddard - 7
Goddard’s best contribution was that he assisted Isak in scoring the equalizer of the game. Other than the assist he was good with the short passes in the middle.
Puitea - 7.5
Puitea scored the first goal for Odisha FC in the 232rd minute of play. Other than the goal, he had few chances of conversion but couldn’t find the final touch.
Roy Krishna - 8
Roy looked quite threatening in the first thirty minutes of play. Created numerous goal scoring chances, unfortunately couldn’t any of those.,
Isak Vanlalruatfela - 7
Isak scored the equalizer of the match with a right footed shot from a very close range to the centre of the goal. He rarely looked like losing possession, had better control over the moving ball than anyone else in the forward line.
Jerry Mawhmingthanga - 7.5
Jerry was brilliant on the field today. Provided some excellent crosses and also assisted Puitea in scoring the first goal for his side.
Substitute
Pranjal Bhumij - 6.5
Pranjal was substituted from the beginning of the second half. Had some half chances in the middle, but couldn’t control the ball well while going for crosses.
Diego Mauricio - 6.5
As like every other match, Diego replaced Roy in the game. But today he couldn’t create the impact Roy was having on the game in the initial few minutes but raised his game towards the end.
Princeton Rebello - 6
Rebello replaced Goddard in the 84th minute of play who was already on a yellow card. He had few minutes on the field to prove his mettle and create an impact like Goddard had on the match.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu: 5.5
Even with good defensive support from Jovanovic and Damjanovic in front of him, Gurpreet had to concede two goals within the first half today. Gurpreet had little involvement in the first goal he conceded, but could have done better from the other goals he conceded.
Aleksandar Jovanovic: 6.5
Today, Aleksandar Jovanovic performed admirably in the backline. Made a lot of solid interceptions and did not give Odisha FC players much room to move in the final third.
Slavko Damjanovic: 6.5
Slavko was consistently good throughout the game. Delivered good command defensively in the pitch playing alongside Bhutia and Jovanovic.
Harsh Patre: 6.0
Harsh had a lot to prove today as he got a chance back to the squad. His fitness is still at question as he had very little impact, won some ball possessions but left to cast his best spell. Made his way out for Shankar in the second half.
Bhutia: 6.5
Bhutia's with-the-ball mobility was good in today's encounter, and he added additional stability to the defensive wing. Tried a couple defensive splitting passes, but Odisha's solid defence prevented those opportunities from finding the back of the net.
Roshan Naorem Singh: 6.0
Roshan Naorem Singh performed his job well today, he was active in the wing and helped his team both offensively and defensively. But unfortunately was sent off in the second half for bringing down a harsh tackle on Puitea.
Suresh Wangjam Singh: 6.5
Suresh established a great connection with the other two members of the three-man backline in today's game, and he also did well in creating opportunities in Odisha's final third. Despite a couple lost passes, he was successful in regaining control in the midfield.
Halicharan Narzary: 6.5
Halicharan did well in the sides, made the left channel quite active by continuously delivering passes in the attacking third and was also successful in winning multiple duels against the OFC’s side backs. Taken off at 55th minute by Simon Grayson.
Keziah Veendorp: 7.0
Keziah performed admirably in the first half, assisting Williams with a long pass into the penalty area, from which BFC scored their second goal. Did an excellent job of holding up play in the middle and kept his cool throughout.
Ryan Williams: 7.0
Williams looked deadly from the start as he sought to penetrate from the flanks and throw crosses into the penalty box, which helped him score BFC's second goal today. Snatched a couple balls in midfield and continued to put pressure on the Odisha FC players.
Sunil Chhetri: 7.5
The captain, leader, legend scored in the first quarter to put Bengaluru up. Today, Chhetri was quite effective in the offensive third. Many times attempted to breach Odisha's defense and worked effectively with Ryan Williams to create goal scoring opportunities for the Blues.
Substitutes
Curtis Main: 7.0
Simon Grayson brought Curtis Main in the search of their much needed equalizer, and he came very close to goal but Amridner denied him by pulling off a fine save.
Shankar: 6.5
Shankar replaced Harsh Patre in the second half to give more defensive stability at the center. Did well in the midfield and attempted a combination play with other players and won a few duels against the Odisha players.
Rohit: 6.0
Rohit entered the game in the second half in place of winger Halicharan but had little impact. Did a good job with the ball, but has to focus more on training.
Jessel Carneiro: 5.5
Carneiro added some fresh legs to the team by bringing in more stability in the middle third of BFC.
