Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldinho Gaúcho added to the pre-Durga Pujo euphoria in Kolkata as he tried out Bengali cuisine and interacted with Emami East Bengal FC in an event organised by Emami Healthy & Tasty this evening.
After being felicitated by Emami Group, the legendary attacker tasted some Bengali dishes prepared using Emami Healthy & Tasty cooking oil and Mantra Masala.
The former FC Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG player then had a one-on-one interaction with Emami East Bengal Head Coach Carles Cuadrat where he spoke on various topics including Messi, Ronaldo & FIFA World Cup 2026.
On whether Messi and Ronaldo can sustain themselves till the next FIFA World Cup
Ronaldinho, who scored 33 goals in 97 matches for Brazil and was part of the Seleção’s triumphant 2002 FIFA World Cup campaign, also said that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo can sustain themselves till the next edition of the sport’s pinnacle tournament.
The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year said, “I definitely think both Messi and Ronaldo can make it to the next World Cup if they remain disciplined. There’s no question about their caliber and quality. If they can take care of their bodies and workload, I am sure they will feature in the next World Cup as well.”
