Arsenal's Thomas Partey considers January exit following limited gametime

Thomas Partey was ruled out with injury earlier this week by Mikel Arteta
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is possibly looking for a move away from North London according to reports from Sky Sports. The Ghanaian midfielder is frustrated with the limited role in Mikel Arteta's side.
Thomas Partey started in the FA Community Shield match against Manchester City. He played the full 120 minutes. The 30-year-old started the next three games before getting injured.
The Ghanaian midfielder returned to action against Manchester City in the Premier League game. Partey featured in two games for the national team in the October international break.
Mikel Arteta has used Partey as more of an inverted right-back. His role has been limited due to injuries and due to a settled Arsenal squad, Partey is losing his place in the playing 11.
Thomas Partey played in 41 games for the Gunners in the 2022-23 season. He scored three goals in the league and played a key role in Arsenal's success.
The midfielder will be out of action for a few weeks after suffering an injury before the Sheffield United game. Mikel Arteta said, "He has got a muscle injury and we expect him to be out for a few weeks. We don't know the extent of it, he has more tests today. He picked it up with the last kick in training before Seville. It's very unfortunate."
Arteta added, "He was coming from a period of absence and he needed minutes. He played with the national team and we tried to be in touch with them. Then he had two games in Chelsea and Seville very very close."
"We decided not to load him up on the first game and play him in Seville, and then that happened in training. It's things that happen in football."
