Barcelona have spent more than the LaLiga FFP rules guidelines

Barcelona are set to put their entire first team on sale. According to reports from Sport, the Spanish giants need to sell their players as their financial spending is still above LaLiga's FFP rules.

The Catalan club continue to find themselves in a financial mess as they are still operating above the €270 million LaLiga imposed annual spending limit.

According to Sport, the Spanish club is ready to sacrifice an important piece of the jigsaw. The decision will be taken by sporting director Deco, who will look to sell among players who have had the least minutes. The club have no intention of activating another financial lever and hence they are looking to balance their books by putting players up for sale.

There were reports earlier this week that Ansu Fati might be sold next summer. The Spanish international is on loan at Brighton in the Premier League. This loan move came as a surprise to many and now the Golden Boy is on the verge of a permanent exit.

Barcelona have a lot of centre-backs in their squad and they might sell one or two in the summer. Eric Garcia is currently on loan at Girona and the player has settled well in their backline. Barca might sell him in the summer. However, if they are not able to find a good price for them then the team management will look at other options in midfield or attack to raise significant funds from the sale.

Deco, the Sporting Director of the club plans to clear out the squad in the summer so that their rhythm is not disturbed in mid-season. Barcelona also need these players because Xavi has a lot of youngsters in the squad and player rotation becomes a must.
