The Blues recently agreed Infinite Athlete to become the club's sponsor

According to reports, Chelsea are seeking up to £500 million in funding from US financial institutions after spending over £1bn on transfers.

The Stamford Bridge wealthy individuals are looking for a loan, as have other Premier League teams in the past few years.

It happens in the midst of an impressive period of expenditure on transfers by the new owner Todd Boehly.

The 50-year-old American spent £1 billion over the previous three transfer windows. However, despite the record-breaking spending, Chelsea's performance on the pitch has not improved.

All three managers who left last season—Frank Lampard, Graham Potter, and Thomas Tuchel—did so under trying circumstances.

And Mauricio Pochettino is currently having trouble motivating his overextended team. Only one of the Blues' first six matches in the Premier League have ended in one victory.

They are currently in 15th place in the standings going into Monday night's West London derby against Fulham at Craven Cottage due to their terrible start.

Several signings have been suggested for them during the January transfer window. Ivan Toney of Brentford and Victor Osimhen of Napoli are two strikers who have been mentioned as intriguing possibilities for the Blues.

Frank Leboeuf, a former player, believes Boehly's controlling interest in the team could be deadly for Chelsea.

Let's be honest, Chelsea is a mid-table club, he said to CasinosEnLigne.com. It will be difficult to recruit players, and superstars like [Kylian] Mbappe won't want to go.

"The big players want to play in the Champions League. Arsenal had that problem for years, and so did Manchester United. Top players won't come to Chelsea because the club has fallen."

"It's unbelievable what the club has become just two years on from their Champions League win. I'm disgusted with it."

"I have nothing against Todd Boehly, but they need to change things quickly or else they'll kill the club."
