Croatia announce squad for October international break

Croatia are the favourites to qualify from Group D
Croatia's squad for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Turkey and Wales is out. These two matches will be a tough test for this star-studded team.
They are currently leading their group with 10 points in the first four games. Croatia are on a three-match winning streak in the qualifiers and have not conceded a single goal in the last three qualification matches.
The first test will be at Opus Arena in Croatia against Turkey. The Turkish side is level on points but has played one extra match.
Their next task will be away from home against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium. The last two meetings between these two teams ended in a draw.
Croatia won their last two matches in the September international break. A 5-0 thrashing of Latvia was followed by a 1-0 away win at Armenia.
Luka Modric will lead his side in these two matches. The Real Madrid midfielder is nearing the last stages of his career and will be eager to ensure qualification as soon as possible.
Two Manchester City stars Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic will also look to impress on the international stage.
