Los Blancos also extended Federico Valverde's contract

According to reports, Eduardo Camavinga has agreed to new Real Madrid until 2027 contracts with significant pay increases.

The French midfielder has agreed to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu through 2028, according to a report in COPE. In order to ward off any possible suitors, Camavinga's departure option will be raised to €1 billion (£862 million/$1 billion), and he has signed a contract that runs through 2027.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who has already played in 11 games this season and logged 645 minutes, has proven himself to be a crucial component of Carlo Ancelotti's plans.

Valverde, Camavinga's teammate in the middle, has also signed a new contract that extends his existing one-year agreement through 2028, which was set to expire in 2027. The Uruguayan will also have a €1 billion release clause, underscoring his position as Real Madrid's undisputed starter.

He has made 11 appearances, like Camavinga, but accumulated 838 more minutes and has contributed one goal and three assists so far this year.

Only two years had passed since Camavinga joined Real Madrid before receiving this extension. In his two seasons with the team, the young Frenchman has succeeded in making an impact and is unquestionably a generational asset the team wanted to hold onto.

Camavinga, who spent the majority of the 2022–2023 season starting as a left-back due to Ferland Mendy's ailments, will undoubtedly be expecting to earn more playing time in the midfield. While Camavinga performed satisfactorily there, Real Madrid ought to avoid wasting him somewhere given the enormous potential he possesses as a midfielder.

Real Madrid is preserving the potential of one of the most intriguing youngsters in European football, who will turn 21 in November.
