Inter Milan release financial results for 2022-23 season

Inter Milan won a domestic trophy & reached the UCL final

26 October 2023, Inter Milan Following today's meeting, which was facilitated by a video conference from Nanjing, the F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A.

Shareholders' Meeting accepted the financial statement for the 2022–2023 fiscal year, as did CEOs Giuseppe Marotta and Alessandro Antonello for Corporate and Sport.

Comparing the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, to the financial year 2021-22, expenditures were significantly reduced as well, falling from €140 million to €85 million, or a decrease of €55 million. With player transactions excluded, the season's total income came to €425 million, an increase of about €60 million.

Inter Milan made it to the UEFA Champions League final and brought in the most money the club has ever made from matchday sales, which came to over €80 million, during the first season since 2020 that games were played with the stadium gates fully open.

Due to the team's outstanding accomplishments, which added a ninth Coppa Italia and a seventh Italian Super Cup to the club's trophy cabinet, revenue from multimedia rights also climbed dramatically.

Operating expenses decreased from €528 million to €465.5 million as a result of moves made during the summer transfer period in 2022, which also reduced the club's payroll.

The majority owner recapitalized the club with €86 million and gave new shareholder loans totalling €51 million throughout the 2023 calendar year.

These expenditures enhanced infrastructure fostered organisational growth at Inter Milan, and supported the team's athletic goals.

Inter Milan believes that they have met the conditions of the UEFA Settlement Agreement and rules out the prospect of fines with regard to the previous season according to the results in its financial statements accepted at today's meeting.
