Manchester United hoping to sell Jadon Sancho in January

Jadon Sancho hasn't played since Manchester United's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal

Erik ten Hag informed Manchester United that Jadon Sancho is having an adverse effect on the team's teammates, and the Red Devils will attempt to transfer him in January.

Jadon Sancho was dismissed from the initial squad after practically labelling Ten Hag a liar after he was removed from last month's loss at Arsenal owing to a poor attitude in training. The United manager has refused to back up in his stand-off with Sancho.

The Mail Sport has reported that Ten Hag has cited Sancho's effect on other players as an explanation for worry in addition to his weak efforts on the practice pitch and consistent tardiness.

The Holland international is believed to have informed the team that collaboration among the other players has improved since Sancho was banished, as evidenced by Saturday's dramatic injury-time victory over Brentford despite a mixed effort.

Erik ten Hag wants Sancho to apologise publicly and in front of the other players before he can rejoin the club, and his superiors fully support this demand. However, five weeks after the Arsenal game, there is still no evidence of a reconciliation.

Having accused Ten Hag of uttering "untrue" remarks and using him as a "scapegoat" after leaving him out of the team for United's 3-1 loss at the Emirates Stadium, the 23-year-old also doesn't seem willing to back down.

Manchester United are prepared to pay Sancho's £300,000 weekly salary if they can secure a loan deal for the remainder of the season because they are so eager to unload him in January.
