Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool's consistent goalscorer

Once again, Mohamed Salah is shattering milestones; this time, he passes Thierry Henry to claim the title of the Premier League's top scorer in European events.

The Egyptian forward has a reputation for shattering records and creating new ones that survive the test of time. Against Toulouse, this was evident once more.

Salah, who was substituted off the bench for the final 20 minutes, scored his fifth goal of the game in the final minute to seal the resounding triumph.

He stepped on for a goal, and he scored one for Liverpool—his 43rd goal in European competition. If you count Champions League qualifying, he does have 44.

“He knows the numbers, he knows everything,” Jurgen Klopp previously told TNT Sports.

“He knows before all of us that there’s a record around the corner he can grab. He doesn’t need help there.

“If he doesn’t score the last game, there’s a good chance he will score in the next game because it just increases his desire, and that’s good for us.”

And the significance of his most recent goal is that it overtook Henry's record of 42 European goals for Arsenal, which he scored in 79 games from 1999 to 2006.

However, Salah has made 70 appearances for the Reds in European tournaments and is undoubtedly the club's all-time leading scorer in Europe, surpassing players like Sadio Mane (26 goals) and Steven Gerrard (41 goals).

Now, the 31-year-old could add the man with the greatest number of goals scored in European competitions for an English team to his extensive record-breaking and accomplishment list at Anfield, which will surely keep growing.
