Spain will play two European qualifiers during the break

Spain national football team manager Luis de la Fuente has announced the squad for the upcoming October international break.

The Spanish team is set to play two UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers during this break.

Their first match is scheduled to take place against Scotland at home. Spain will look to avenge their loss from the last meeting. Scott McTominay scored a brace in that match and the Spanish team suffered their first loss in the qualification campaign.

They face Norway in the second group match. Scotland leads the Group A of the qualifiers with a 100% record. Spain sits second in the table and have played a game less than the Scottish.

Lamine Yamal retains his place in the senior team. His full debut season has started well and the Spanish youngster has a chance to add more international caps to his name.

Most of the players in the current squad are selected from the LaLiga teams. There are also a couple of Premier League players along with one player each from Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League.

Spain needs to win these two games to go to the top of the table. Scotland have played one more match and a win against them will boost their chances of finishing at the top.
