Zlatan Ibrahimovic recalls first interaction with Pep Guardiola

The Swedish striker played under Guardiola during his time at Barcelona

In their first encounter, Pep Guardiola reportedly advised Zlatan Ibrahimovic not to arrive at Barcelona's training facility in a Ferrari.

The veteran striker was questioned about his relationship with the Catalan manager in the preview for a forthcoming interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a former Barcelona goal scorer, recently stated that Pep Guardiola warned him not to drive a Ferrari to practice.

The Spaniard is a controversial personality among those who have worked with him since Ilkay Gundogan believes that he is the best manager he has ever encountered.

The Swedish player is notorious for not being the Manchester City tactician's biggest fan, on the other end of the spectrum.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed details of his and Pep Guardiola's infamous conversation about a Ferrari while talking to Piers Morgan.

“First meeting I had with him, he was like, ‘remember, players here don’t come with Ferrari.’ I’ll bring my f—— Ferrari!”, he bluntly revealed.

Owing to the Ferrari episode and their volatile relationship at Barcelona, Zlatan Ibrahimovic might criticise Pep Guardiola when the whole interview is made public.

After all, the iconic leader quit the Spanish juggernaut after just two years, despite having been a high-priced signing at the time.

And it's widely accepted that the reason for this is that Ibrahimovic doesn't get along well with the 52-year-old.

When Pep Guardiola is asked about the veteran's statements in the media, he would probably respond with his opinion but not give them much thought because one would anticipate that his only concern is continuing to make history with Manchester City.
