I-League 2023-24: Aizawl FC dominates Namdhari at home

In five matches, Aizawl FC now have three wins.

Aizawl FC came good in front of their home fans when they handed out visiting Namdhari FC a clean 3-0 defeat RG Stadium on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

The victory helped Aizawl FC climb the fourth spot with nine points from five matches. This was their third victory in the league, having lost two matches.

The winners held the upper hand right from the beginning though it took them 42 minutes to score their first goal through Lalrinzuala. In the second half the winners not only held on to their lead successfully but also slammed in two more in the 63rdminute and during the closing stages.

While K.Lalrinfela scored the second goal, the final nail on the rival’s coffin was hammered in by R. Lalthanmawia in the 90+5thminute.

Namdhari FC are now languishing at the bottom of the table with four points.
