Ange Postecoglou becomes FIRST EVER to win Premier League Manager of Month for first 3 months of season

Ange Postecoglou becomes the first manager to win this award thrice in a row

Ange Postecoglou, the managing manager of Tottenham Hotspur, was recently awarded the October Premier League Manager of the Month.

In addition, Postecoglou won the honours for August and September, making history as the first individual to ever win Manager of the Month for every one of his first three months of employment.

In October, Spurs became the sole team in the Premier League that won all three of their games; this was the first occasion during Postecoglou's brief tenure as manager that Spurs had done so.

A spirited 1-0 victory over Luton Town kicked off Tottenham's October before the international break. After Yves Bissouma received two yellow cards just before halftime, Postecoglou's team went down to ten men; however, Micky van de Ven scored the game's decisive goal shortly into the second half, sending Spurs to the top of the Premier League.

Following the October international break, Tottenham resumed play against Fulham at home, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison.

They won 2-1 away at Crystal Palace four days later, thanks to goals from Son and an own goal by Joel Ward, guaranteeing them three victories out of three games for the month.

Since joining Tottenham in the summer from Celtic, Postecoglou has shown to be a popular decision. Spurs, coming off a bad 2022–2023 season, are now a cohesive team on all fronts.

After winning all of their games with Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Liverpool, respectively, Unai Emery, Mikel Arteta, and Jurgen Klopp were also shortlisted.
