Paulo Dybala disclosed that he called Jose Mourinho immediately following the FIFA World Cup victory. The manager of AS Roma, he said, is a huge fan of both Lionel Messi and the Argentina national team.

When he went into the dressing room following the decisive victory over France, the attacker also stated that he received five unanswered calls from the Portuguese boss.

Dybala claimed in an interview with journalist Gastón Edul that Mourinho is very fond of the Argentines. The past Chelsea boss, he said, had amazing things to share concerning Messi, Angel di Maria, and him. Says he:

"When the final against France ended, I was in the traditonal doping room, then I get to the locker room, I grab the phone to talk to my family and I had 5 missed calls from Mou. I think I called him first then my mother. He was very happy because he loves Argentines. He always says wonderful things to me about Di María, and Messi too, he loves him. He has great affection to all the Argentines."

Dybala has bagged 20 goals in 46 games for AS Roma under Jose Mourinho. He additionally recorded 11 assists and is a regular starter for the Serie A team.
