PIF set to hold talks with Bruno Fernandes over future Saudi move

Bruno Fernandes is the leader of the pack at Old Trafford
Reports suggest that Bruno Fernandes may be leaving Manchester United unexpectedly.
The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is reportedly considering a move for Manchester United's captain, according to Italian reporter Rudy Galetti.
The four largest clubs in the Saudi Arabian Premier League are majority-owned by PIF.
Newcastle United is also owned by the Saudi fund that has investments in Al-Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli.
And it's been said that they're already focusing on their next objectives, following a summer filled with big-name additions to the Saudi Pro League.
According to reports, Fernandes is one name that is sticking out on the list of possible summer 2024 acquisitions.
Additionally, it has been reported that PIF representatives will speak with the midfielder's retinue about the possibility of further negotiations.
In 2020, the Portuguese playmaker—who may have cost up to £60 million—moved from Sporting Lisbon to Old Trafford and has since made 200 Red Devils appearances, tallying 57 assists and 67 goals.
After coach Erik ten Hag relieved Harry Maguire of the captain's armband, Fernandes received an award for his reliable displays.
The 29-year-old would join a plethora of other players who have defected to the expanding league if he were to relocate to the Middle East.
Several international players, like Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Riyad Mahrez, departed Europe to establish themselves in Saudi Arabia.
