Real Madrid set sights on Jamal Musiala as Kylian Mbappe's alternative

The Spanish club eyeing Jamal Musiala and Bellingham reunion
Should Real Madrid not manage to recruit Kylian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain, they aim to sign Jamal Musiala, an offensive midfielder from Bayern Munich, according to a report from Sport Bild.
The 20-year-old's contract is up for renewal with Bayern Munich until 2026, but they would have to pay him three times as much as they do now—roughly €8 million annually.
However, Musiala prefers to put off thinking about what's to come or a new deal for the time being. Negotiations for an extension will take place at the end of the current campaign.
With four goals and three assists in 12 games this season across all competitions, he has matched his outstanding efforts.
Musiala's close buddy Jude Bellingham, who is currently leading La Liga goal scorers and tied for first place in the Champions League, would be able to rejoin him if he were to make a move.
Musiala is also being sought after by Manchester City, as manager Pep Guardiola views him as a possible replacement for Kevin De Bruyne.
Not only might relocating to the Spanish capital offer Musiala an entirely fresh opportunity, but it would also bring him back together with his close buddy Jude Bellingham. The thought of a reunion is even more alluring because Bellingham, 20, has been in incredible form, topping the La Liga goal-scoring charts and sharing first place in the Champions League.
The battle for Real Madrid's signing of Jamal Musiala is on, and the football world is watching with eagerness to see if Real Madrid will land the desired midfield player or if another European superpower will submit their bid.
