Indonesia will enter this AFC Asian Cup clash as the underdogs.

After a thrilling round of group stage fixtures, the spotlight now shifts to the all important RO16 matches at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. First up, title favourites and 2015 champions Australia will take on Indonesia to begin the proceedings.

The Socceroos won Group B and accumulated seven points in three matches while Indonesia finished third in their group with three points and qualified as one of the four best third-placed teams.

The 32-year-old has been Australia’s most consistent player at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. He is known for his pressing, ball distribution and all round contributions on the pitch. The left-winger caused a lot of trouble to India in the opening game with his speed and trickery and is expected to do the same against Indonesia.
