AFC Asian Cup 2023: Points Table, Most Goals, Most Assists After Match 26, Tajikistan vs Lebanon

Teams are slowly making their places in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 RO16.
Qatar and Tajikistan have secured their places as the first two teams from Group A to qualify for the RO16 of the AFC Asian Cup 2023. This achievement follows after victories over their respective opponents China and Lebanon, in matches held on January 22.
In the first match, Qatar defeated China 1-0, while in the other fixture Tajikistan registered a 2-1 comeback over Lebanon to make their way into the next round of the tournament.
Group A
After today’s matches, Qatar conclude their group stage campaign in first place with three wins in three matches, while Tajikistan remain in second place. China are in third place with two points from three matches and must await confirmation in the coming days regarding their advancement in the tournament.
Group B
The upcoming matches for Group B are set to take place on January 23. At present, Australia hold the top position, followed by Uzbekistan in second place. Syria and India make up the third and fourth places, respectively.
Group C
In Group C, Iran are currently leading with six points, followed by the United Arab Emirates in second place with four. Palestine hold the third position, while Hong Kong are in the fourth place.
Group D
Iraq continue to lead Group D with six points, followed by Japan and Indonesia in second and third place, each with three points. Vietnam are currently placed fourth and are yet to secure a win in the tournament.
Group E
In Group E, Jordan currently occupy the leading position, with South Korea following closely in second place. Bahrain are positioned third, with Malaysia sitting on the fourth spot.
Group F
Saudi Arabia currently hold the top position in Group F with six points from two matches, while Thailand are placed second with four points. Oman and Kyrgyz Republic occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively.
Top Goal Scorers
The list of the leading goal-scorers at the AFC Asian Cup 2023 has not changed after the two matches on January 22. Akram Afif and Aymen Hussein maintain their positions at the top, each having scored three goals each.
1. Akram Afif (Qatar) – 3 goals
2. Aymen Hussein (Iraq) – 3 goals
3. Jackson Irvine (Australia) – 2 goals
4. Takumi Minamino (Japan) – 2 goals
5. Sultan Adil Mohamed (UAE) – 2 goals
Top Assists
In the ranking of top assist-providers, Almoez Ali, Yazan Abdallah Al-Naimat, and Saman Ghoddos are tied at the top, each contributing two assists.
1. Almoez Ali (Qatar) – 2 assist
2. Yazan Abdallah Alnaimat (Jordan) – 2 assists
3. Saman Ghoddos (Iran) – 2 assists
4. Akram Afif (Qatar) – 1 assist
5. Takumi Minamino (Japan) – 1 assist
