AFC Asian Cup 2023: Points Table, Most Goals, Most Assists After Match 7, Iran vs Palestine

Iran registered a resounding victory in their AFC Asian Cup 2023 opener.
After three additional matches on the third day of play in the AFC Asian Cup 2023, there has been an update in the points table. Three matches were played yesterday in the AFC Asian Cup, each producing a significant result. Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Iran emerged victorious against their respective opponents.
Additionally, three more matches are scheduled for the fourth day. The initial match will feature South Korea and Bahrain, followed by Indonesia meeting Iraq, and culminating with Malaysia taking on Jordan.
Group A
As there was no match in Group A, the table remained unchanged. Qatar maintain the top spot with a victory, followed by China in second place. Tajikistan occupy the third position, with Lebanon in fourth place.

Group B
On the same day, no team from Group B competed in a match. Australia are currently leading the table, with Syria following closely in second place. Uzbekistan and India occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively.

Group C
After emerging victorious in their match against Palestine, Iran have secured the top position in the standings. The United Arab Emirates achieved a second-place finish after defeating Hong Kong. The goal difference has been the determining factor in placing the UAE in second position behind Iran.
Hong Kong holds the third position, while Palestine find themselves at the bottom of the group.

Group D
From Group D, only two teams have competed thus far. Japan emerged victorious over Vietnam, securing the top position. Indonesia and Iraq are currently placed second and third respectively, without having played a match, while Vietnam hold the fourth position.

Akram Afif and Takumi Minamino remain at the top with two goals from the single AFC Asian Cup game they have played so far.

Saman Ghoddos of Iran is the only player to have provided two assists in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 so far, while others in the list have just one.
