Indian Football Calendar 2024: Matches to watch in first week of January

There are a lot of interesting matches that are taking place in the first week of the year across the nation.

As the year 2024 commences, Indian football is gearing up for extremely exciting times. While the Indian Super League (ISL) takes a break, the Indian football fraternity gets ready to support the Blue Tigers in their 2023 AFC Cup campaign which starts from 13 January 2023 onwards.

The Super Cup is also near which will see ISL and I-League teams battle it out for the trophy. Interestingly, the first week of January 2024 will not see any senior ISL or I-League teams in action. However, there will be no shortage of football action across the country. Plenty of football will be played in state and youth leagues to keep Indian football fans’ thirst satiated.
