What are Asian teams' FIFA Rankings after AFC Asian Cup 2023?

AFC Asian Cup winners Qatar have made headlines by grabbing the 37th spot in February’s FIFA rankings.
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup saw hosts and defending champions Qatar clinch their consecutive continental crown in front of their home fans. The iconic Lusail Stadium witnessed one more historic night as Qatar became the fifth nation to win back-to-back Asian titles.
It was an AFC Asian Cup to remember for many. Jordan wrote their story in golden letters and made it to their first-ever final and made everyone believe that rankings and reputations don’t matter if you have the willingness and desire to go the distance.
Football’s international governing body, FIFA released its latest rankings on February 15, 2024 following the conclusion of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Qatar, the two time champions of Asia have been adjudged as the most successful Asian team in the latest rankings. The Maroons have climbed up 21 places and are currently ranked 37, their highest-ever FIFA ranking. Jordan on the other hand, have climbed up 17 places and are currently ranked 70.
Japan continue to be the highest-ranked Asian team, but have dropped down to 18 from 17. Iran have also moved up to 20 from 21, South Korea to 22 from 23, and Australia are now ranked 23.
