Indian Football Calendar 2024: Major tournaments to look forward to in February 2024

29 ISL matches are scheduled to take place in the month of February.

After a busy January, Indian football has transitioned into the month of February 2024. The Kolkata Derby marked the beginning of the month, setting the stage for the Indian Super League and Indian Women’s League, which are the primary focus of events in the football calendar. 

Additionally, the Santosh Trophy is set to commence this month, further adding to the excitement in the Indian football scene.

Here is a look at the full calendar for Indian Football in February 2024:

Turkish Women’s Cup

The Indian team has confirmed their participation in the Turkish Women’s Cup. Additional teams competing in the championship include Estonia, Hong Kong, and Kosovo.

• February 21, 2024 – India vs Estonia
• February 24, 2024 – India vs Hong Kong
• February 27, 2024 – India vs Kosovo

Indian Super League (ISL)

Indian Super League After a brief mid-season hiatus, the Indian Super League 2023-24 has resumed from the 31st of January. A total of 29 ISL matches are scheduled to take place in the month of February. The month kicked off with a match between FC Goa and Hyderabad FC on February 1, 2024, and will conclude with a match between Odisha FC and East Bengal FC on the 29th of February.

•  February 1, 2024 – February 29, 2024 (League stage matches)

I-League 

After a short mid-season break, the I-League 2023-24 season has also recommenced from 3rd February. It will have a total of 34 matches in this month. 

• February 3, 2024 – February 29, 2024 (League Stage Matches)

Indian Women’s League (IWL)

The Indian Women’s League will continue its regular matches between the teams. A total of six matches are scheduled for the month, after which there will be a break, with matches set to resume in March 2024.

• February 3, 2024 – February 12, 2024 (Group Stage Matches)

Santosh Trophy

The final rounds of the 77th edition of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy 2023-24 will take place in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, from February 21 to March 9.

• February 21, 2024 – March 9, 2024 (Final Round)

Ekaamra Cup 

The Ekaamra Cup Street Football Championship, a 6-a-side football tournament, is scheduled to commence in the month of February. Although the precise dates have not been announced yet, the event will feature a total of 64 teams, comprising 600 footballers and the  championship will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
