The top Indian players and coaches across competitions were honoured on by AIFF May 2.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Awards took place on May 2, 2025 (Friday) at 4:30 PM in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event was recognising some of the best Indian players and coaches who shone bright for their respective clubs during the recently concluded 2024-25 season.

An yearly function, the AIFF Awards honor the best players and coaches from the Indian Super League (ISL) and the Indian Womenโ€™s League (IWL). From individual brilliance to tactical masterclass, these individuals displayed excellence on the football field this season.

Hereโ€™s a list of the award winners from AIFF Awards 2025:

Subashish Bose wins Menโ€™s Player of The Year as Soumya Guguloth wins Womenโ€™s Player of The Year

In a season that demonstrated Mohun Baganโ€™s deterioration, Indian defender Subhasish Bose shown the brightest among all the players this year. The 29-year-old Indian national team defender made seven goals contributions in 22 ISL regular season games. He also helped Mohun Bagan also record 12 out of the 14 clean sheets in their record-breaking season.

Soumya Guguloth won the Womenโ€™s Player of The Year award after a special season with East Bengal FC in the IWL. The 24-year-old attacker was the highest scoring Indian player in the IWL this season with nine goals in nine league appearances for the Torchbearers this season.

Vishal Kaith wins Menโ€™s Goalkeeper of The Year as Panthoi Chanu wins Womenโ€™s Goalkeeper of The Year

Vishal Kaith won the Menโ€™s Goalkeeper of The Year award after a record breaking season with the Mariners. He recorded 17 clean sheets in 31 appearances in all competitions and also was called up for the Indian national team this season. A former FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC player, Kaith has established himself as one of the best Indian players this season with Mohun Bagan.

Panthoi Chanu won the Womenโ€™s Goalkeeper of The Year award after a stunning season between the sticks with East Bengal FC. Chanu kept seven clean sheets in 14 IWL appearances this season as East Bengal FC won the league title with an eight-point cushion. A former Metro United and Eastern Sporting Union player, Chanu has been sensational this season.

Khalid Jamil and Sujata Kar win Coach of The Year honors at AIFF Awards 2025

Jamshedpur FC head coach Khalid Jamil and Sribhumi head coach Sujata Kar won Coach of The Year honors for the Menโ€™s and Womenโ€™s categories. While Jamil is currently in the hunt for a Kalinga Super Cup title, Kar helped Sreebhumi FC finish third in the final IWL standings.

Among other players who received recognition for their performances included FC Goaโ€™s Brison Fernandes who was named the Promising Menโ€™s Player of The Year while Sreebhumi FCโ€™s Thoibisana Chanu was named the Promising Womenโ€™s Player of The Year after a special campaign.
