Churchill Brother appoint Mykola Shevchenko as a head coach

Former Churchill Brothers and Dempo SC defender Mykola Shevchenko has been appointed as a head coach of the Red Machines for the Hero I-League and also for the remaining of the Goa Professional League.
“It always makes me happy to see when our player makes something great and I am delighted to have our ex-player to be in head coach role. He has a strong coaching career back in Ukraine and I am hoping he and Alfred Fernandes (Assistant Coach) will combine well to bring back glory days in Goa.” Churchill Brothers, CEO Valanka Alemao said.
Shevchenko has played for Churchill Brother in 2000, while he was also a part of Dempo in 2001 when the Golden Eagles traded their pile in the Second Division National Football League.
“I feel like a homecoming as 17 years ago I was with the team and I have lots of memories with the club. I am very happy to sign them back. In 2000 we finished second in NFL, but now my job is to improve that position.” The Ukrainian coach expressed.
