The 25-year-old midfielder joined the Bundesliga club in 2017.

Serie A outfit Inter Milan have shown a keen interest to sign Bayern Munich French midfielder Corentin Tolisso, however, his future depends on Ivan Perisic going the other way. Things are not clear yet as Inter Milan's Croatian forward, Ivan Perisic, is plying his trade on loan at Bayern and manager Hansi Flick along with the management, are interested to keep him at the club permanently.

While Antonio Conte feels Tolisso has the abilities to play in his system for the Nerazzurri but things depend on what happens with Perisic's future.

The 25-year old midfielder is currently contracted with Bayern Munich until 2022. Despite all the injury concerns and recent ankle surgery which will keep them out for two months at least, has attracted interest from Italy.

The former Lyon player will miss the restart of the Bundesliga which is set to commence in the second week of May.

Tolisso was one of the brightest young prospects at Ligue 1 side, Olympique Lyon when Bayern Munich snapped him up back in 2017 for a €41m transfer deal. Thereon, he has been hot and cold at the German champions and has won back to back Bundesliga titles with the club.

Though incessant injuries and drop in form has resulted in him dropping down the pecking order with midfielders like Thiago Alcantara, Leon Goretzka and even Joshua Kimmich have been mainstays in Hansi Flick's system this season. While with the current injury, it looks more likely that the 25-year old will head out for a new challenge at the end of this season.

He has made 24 appearances for the German outfit and has clocked a total of 1359 minutes this season. Tolisso is known for his tireless attitude and wide range of passing. He is someone who is versatile and can play in both attacking and defensive roles.

Should the deal goes through as reported by Calciomercato, Tolisso will get an opportunity to revive his career in Italy under Antonio Conte as his characteristics fit the bill for the Nerazzurri.
