Both teams are chasing a play-off spot…
Delhi Dynamos host Kerala Blasters in a Indian Super League match at the capital’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Friday with both teams looking for a win as the race for the play-offs intensifies. The two sides are in buoyant after a good run of form in recent games. Dynamos won for the first time since opening day when they won 0-2 at Goa in their last outing. Blasters themselves are on the up after a retched start to the season. Team News The hosts have no fresh injuries and manager Gianluca Zambrotta said he has a fully fit squad to pick from. The visitors also have a full complement but continue to miss the Bengaluru FC pairing of Rino Anto and C.K Vineeth. Head to Head Games between these two teams have been tight with a win each and three draws in five games. When they met earlier in the season the game ended in a 0-0 stalemate. Man to Watch Richard Gadze-Delhi Dynamos: The Ghanaian has been one of the mainstays for Delhi and has led the line effectively ahead of a star-studded midfield. The striker got back amongst the goals in the win in Goa, but knows he must improve his conversion rate as we get down to the business end of the season. However, his pace will present a unique challenge to the veteran Kerala centre-backs. Cedric Hengbart-Kerala Blasters: The French defender has not only done an exceptional job at the back but he has also been one of the leaders of the Blasters team. He will once again play a key role if Steve Coppell’s men are to subdue a potent Dynamos attack. Probable Line-ups Delh Dynamos: Antonio Doblas Santana(GK), Rupert Nongrum, Rubén González Rocha, Chinglesana Konsham Singh, Bruno Pelissari, Milan Singh, Marcos Tébar, Florent Malouda(C), Souvik Chakraborty, Anas Edathodika, Richard Gadze. Kerala Blasters: Nandy; Jhingan, Hengbart, Hughes, Currais, Hossain, Mahamat; Rafique, Rafi, Chopra, Belfort Broadcast: The match will be telecast live on Star Sports 1, HD1, Star Sports 2, HD2, Star Gold, Star Gold HD, Jalsha Movies, Jalsha Movies HD and Hotstar.
